About Alice
Alice developed a passion and love for dogs and horses from a young age; previously competing in unaffiliated events with several horses in her teens and twenties, and growing up with a variety of spaniels and golden retrievers. She also had a strong interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitation.
She completed a 3 year BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University in 2016, and obtained 6 years of experience in the NHS and private practice, including in Intensive Care, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Neuro Rehab, and Trauma and Orthopaedics and Sports Injuries.
She then completed a 2 year PgDip at the University of Liverpool in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2021 and a 1 year MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2023. Alice has experience working with leisure and competition horses and dogs, and worked with Victoria Spalding who is the current equine physiotherapist to the British Equestrian Eventing team.
She has also obtained Pilates Training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, up to Matwork Level 3, and is an experienced Pilates Instructor.
Alice lives in Bristol with her husband and their dog Buddy 🐾 She works full-time at a private hospital in Bristol treating musculoskeletal and post-op orthopaedic conditions, alongside her animal work.
